Upon recommendation of the Board of Directors and with the approval of the membership at the annual conference in November, 2007, the position of STATE LIAISON was created. These individuals are selected to serve two year terms (on a rotating basis once all are established) and will serve the organization by serving as a contact person within their state, by maintaining current data base information and providing that information to the corresponding secretary each year, facilitating the State Caucus Meeting at the annual conference, and working to distribute information and gather input from individuals in their states on behalf of the Board of Directors through the corresponding secretary.
